can be used for a variety of meeting and recreational activities.
Up to 140 people can be seated in rows without tables. Each

THE TAMBO VILLAGE is
an option for groups looking for a more rustic facility. It is a great
site for a one or two-week summer camp. This village is open from
mid-April through mid-October, and can comfortably accommodate one
group of up to 80. The unique name is an acronym for John 17:21 "That
All May Be One," the motto of the United
Church of Christ.
The TAMBO Village is a self-contained facility and
comes complete with dining hall and kitchen, cabins, large game field,
campfire circle, chapel area and two covered pavilions. The
shower/toilet facilities are in separate cement block buildings. The
six cabins sleep 12-14 each in bunk beds. There is also a staff lodge
with three small sleeping rooms, each with its own bathroom. The
buildings all have electricity, but no heat. The TAMBO Village is
located across the county road from our winterized Lakeside Village
and may be used separately or in combination with that area. Food
service for this facility is often provided from our main kitchen.
