The Meeting's Over...Now

Over Halloween weekend 2009, over 250 pastors,
leaders, delegates and MMSUCC staff met in Independence, MO, for our
Biennial Meeting 2009. Points of note:
• Delegates voted to approve the
Habakkuk
Project.
• Delegates voted to approve the proposed 2010 Budget.
• We were blessed to have a number of special speakers whose words
brought light to the important missions and international
partnerships we support around the world. Rev. Cally Rogers-Witte,
Exec. Dir. Wider Church Ministries, preached our opening worship;
Rev. James Vijayakumar, Area Executive for Southern Asia enlightened
us during bible study; and Rev. Sandra Gourdet, Area Executive for
Africa, spoke our keynote at the conference luncheon. Thank you to
our special guests!
• Special thanks to: the worship planning team, the hospitality and
children’s programming team, the Gathering Ministry, the staff of
the Hilton Garden Inn-Independence, sound and AV staff, and all the
many people behind the scenes.
