Saturday Night "Birthday Party" continued

St. John's UCC, Cappeln celebrated 150 years of ministry.  Devin Jones, Pastor.

St. Martin's UCC, Dittmer celebrated 150 years of ministry.  Scott Lohse, pastor.

The Heritage Committee Honored four ministers and their wives for 50 years of ordained ministry.  Left to right: Jim & Ruth Konrad, Gene & Marlene Becker, Ann & Hale Schroer, and Florence & Dick Simmonson.

This was also a time to say "Good Bye" to Char Burch.  Shown above Jody Furnas-Wright summarizes Char's two years in Missouri Mid-South into three minutes to the tune of the William Tell Overture.

Part of the "Good Bye" was the presentation of gifts and a plaque to Char & Larry Burch by Moderator Dan Buescher.

No Birthday is complete without gifts, and churches were invited to bring forward the gifts they had brought to go toward OCWM.

The Birthday Party was also a fun time to dress in 1950's attire.  Pictured here are Virginia and Jerry Florian, the audio/visual folks who work with us annually.
